AS Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways) is a company in charge of railway administration, development and maintenance of railway infrastructure, traffic supervision and safety.

Järve Biopuhastus

Järve Biopuhastus wastewater treatment plant located in Kohtla-Järve, which is the largest treatment plant in the region. The total flow rate of the treatment plant is around 30,000 cubic meters in a day, and an average of 11 million cubic meters of wastewater is treated at the plant every year.

Around 50 percent of the water conducted to the treatment plant is domestic wastewater and the remaining 50 percent is industrial wastewater.

AS Alexela Sillamäe is one of the most flexible and versatile terminals in the region, capable of serving tankers of up to 100 000 DWT all year round. Modern technology allows various types of oil products to be stored and handled in the terminal at the same time, while guaranteeing complete separation. The following chemicals are mainly handled in the terminal:

  • Heavy fuel oil;
  • Shale oil;
  • Vacuum gas oil.

Silsteve

SILSTEVE is the multifunctional terminal in the port of Sillamäe. Following services are provided by the company:

  • Loading and discharge of bulk, general, ro-ro, project cargo and containers transported by sea, road and railway transport;
  • Storage of cargo;
  • Customs and shipping documentation services
  • Forwarding services
  • Cargo packing, sorting, marking and other additional services.

Liquid chemical terminal

Eurochem

The liquid chemicals terminal at the Port of Sillamäe is operated by the EuroChem subsidiary EuroChem Terminal Sillamae AS. The core business of EuroChem Terminal Sillamae AS is handling of petrochemical raw materials.

UAN and AMMONIA terminal
